The story happens in two large families. Two families are bonded together through a marriage because of interests. Of course, personal willings aren't considered in such a marriage, which also paves the ground for the development of the whole story.

Main Characters

Avery has a boyfriend whom she thinks that she can really trust and depend on. However, she finds that she was betrayed by him for a long time. Growing up in a reconstituted family, Avery has been bullied by her stepmother and sister. When her father's company goes bankrupt, she is forced by her stepmother to marry Elliot who is in a state of coma. She would have wanted to escape with her boyfriend, but found that her boyfriend had an affair with her stepsister. She has no choice but to accept the arrangement of others.

Elliot Foster is a core member of the Foster family. As a billionaire, he is famous for his cruelty and indifference. However, he fell into a coma due to an accident for a long time and other members in his family almost lost the hope of him coming back to life someday. However, his mother wouldn't like to give up any possibility and hope that the blood of Elliot can be inherited at least. Eventually, he is arranged to marry Avery in a state of coma.

She had no other ideas but to live a peaceful life. While her peaceful life was broken again when his eyes opened. Elliot is ferious about this marriage and don't accept her as his wife, forcing her to have an abortion. Avery choose to leave and give birth to Elliot's kids. The language of this novel is not fluent enough, and some mistakes in sentences influence reading experience. The plots in this novel are also a bit cliched. Why are billionaires in all novels heartless and cruel? What female characters in novels are always innocent and a little foolish? Avery chose to accept her terrible fate but not fight against it just because of a man who betrayed her, which is ridiculous. What's more, Avery seems to be like a puppy which is often manipulated by others randomly. Where is her brain? Can't she think dependently just like a normal person?
