Mermen are legendary creatures, which are like humans from the waist up with a fish tail. There are many legends about mermen, where they sometimes are described as a creature with handsome appearance and sometimes they are hideous monsters. All of the legends create a mysterious image about mermen, which gradually becomes the inspiration of authors. More and more writers create vivid protagonists of their works with the help of their imagination and those legends.

Linda is a researcher in a university who is interested in mermen and chooses it as her study direction. She referred to many literature about merman and prepared much for her own research. It seems that a fantastic connection between her and a merman is generated in this process. She often dreams that a handsome merman wants to mate with her and always get in touch with her intimately in the sea. She dreams of such a scene so many times that she should think it's a real situation sometimes.

Dicken is the merman who appears in Linda's dream many times. He saved Linda in the sea when Linda was a child. Then, he becomes Linda's subject for her study.
