 In this novel, characters have different identities, such as humans, demons and deities. In the world described by this demon novel, demons and deities all master super powers but their positions are totally different. Deities are noble while demons are subtle, and humans are ordinary. There is no conflict in the world because they don’t disturb each other. living on the same planet, they should obey the rules and not offend each other’s interest. Of course, they don’t intervene in a species’ internal affairs, which is very important for maintaining the balance among them. 

Main Characters of Goddess And Demon Assassin

Liam is a member of demons who is framed as a criminal by an occasional incident. No one is willing to listen to his explanation and all of the members in demons hope to see that he will be  sentenced to death or driven out from demons. They give him an opportunity to choose his fate, eventually Liam is kicked out and absorbed all of powers. Fortunately, he meets some kind humans and they take him in. They treat him as friendly as his family. Liam is touched by those humans and likes the time when they spent together. Just like an ordinary human, he studies  in a college in the daytime and conceals his real identity.

Hera is the daughter of the most powerful deity, who is loved and protected well by her father since she is a child. Although her life is ideal for most people, it’s not what she wants. She desires freedom and does anything that she likes and doesn't care about the results. Even though she might encounter setbacks in pursuing her ideal lifestyle, she is still willing to face all of the risks and overcome difficulties on her own. The result is not important for her, she just cares about the process of  doing things independently. Therefore, protection from her father is a control for her and often makes her suffocated. Eventually, she chooses to escape.

Liam sees a man lying on the ground and can’t help approaching the man, then he finds that the man is dead in this demon novel. He is so afraid that he runs away as fast as he can and leaves one shoe. Then, someone accuses Liam of killing the man. Although he tries his best to find evidence to prove his innocence, no one believes him. Other members of the demon insist that Liam is a murder and must be punished. They give him a choice in terms of the way of being punished. Either to be sentenced to death or to be kicked out from demons. Besides that, his power will be absorbed. Eventually, he leaves his homeland and is forced to reduce to being an assassin. He needs to kill individuals according to orders to earn his life. After that, he meets some human friends and they treat him friendly. Hera, who escaped from her father’s control, rents a room from Liam’s human friends. In a small nut, a womon is struggling with pain on a wooden bed and a midwife is busy helping her give birth to the baby and preparing for the baby's coming, meanwhile a handsome man stands at the corner and waits for the birth of the kid anxiously, looking at the woman lying on the bed worriedly. Although they have no word, they all hope that the baby will be a boy, then the problem of the kingdom's future heir will be solved naturally. The baby comes into the world when the rare blood moon suddenly appears in the sky and overshadows all the light. When the midwife declare the gender of the baby, the man and woman are all a little disappointed. The mother even wouldn't like to look at the baby again. The man tries to conceal his disappointment and consolate the woman who just gave birth with all of energy and is still weak. It seems that they predict something bad will be happen in future with the birth of the baby based on the weird celestial phenomena. In a serious atmosphere, The man and the woman gives the baby a name Layana. Then the man took this girl to the palace.

There is a brutal massacre in the other place at the same time. The king decides to sacrifice the second strongest clan and let soldiers to kill all of members of this clan. Parents always know the upcoming danger and try their best to protect their son. A little boy was told by his father to hide himself in a remote carve which is difficult to find. The darker it gets, the more uneasy the little boy became. He can't help wanting to know whether his families are safe and why his father doesn't allow him to ruturn until it's getting dark. Eventually, he run to his house as soon as possible. In the city where he  has lived in and has been bustling with activity, countless corpses are decarded like rubbish on streets full of blood. He sees many playmates who has paly with him lately lying in blood. At that moment, he feels that the world and things fall apart. Although he already predicts what has happened to his clan, he still thinks that maybe my families are lucky enough…… He runs to the house desperately while he witnesses a scene which bacome a nightmare of his whole life. His brother is stabbed by those cruel soldiers and the blood sprays out crazily. Then he is also found by those soilders. He didn't obey his father's order and expose his magic power when those soldier is about to kill him.

Main Plots in His Caged Princess

Several years after, the little girl who is born with a curse grows into the most beautiful princess and often attracts eyes of others. While she is still not be thought highly by his father. The king often try no avoid seeing this daughter because she looks like her mother so much, which often reminds him of the womon whom he truely loves. Meanwhile, the little boy who has a miserable experience also grows into a handsome man, while he doesn't care about his appearance. In past years, he considered how to revenge for those innocent members of his clan every day. Then he finally has  an opportunity to come into the palace. It's when he is trying to plan a elaborate scheme to revenge that he encounter beautiful Layana and can't forget her anymore. Then how will their fates intersect?

Final thoughts about His Caged Princess

This novel is one of the best that I have read. The beginning of this story describes weird astronominal phenomena when Layana was born, which is intriguing. Besides that, identities of his moother is always a secret. In addition, the cruel situation where the Declan's family is slaughtered is showed, which let readers can't help wanting to exxploring the reason further. The auther is very adept at catching readers'eyes through puzzles that inspire them to explore the truth. The desgin of plots in this novel is unique and beyond readers' imagination. Overall, it's must a novel to bring much fun for you. If you don't read it, you will regret missing such a wonderful novel.

Novel Review：Alpha Asher

Lola always assumed that her and her boyfriend Alpha Tyler were mates. On Tyler's 18th birthday, her world comes crumbling down. Broken hearted, she flees from her pack for an entire year. Tragedy forces Lola to return home where she finds the infamous Alpha Asher in charge. This time around, Lola may actually have a shot at happiness. That is, until she finds out who her mate truly is.

Tyler doesn't love Lola and he just deems the relationship as a bond of beast desires, eventually, he still choose the other gir as his mate officially. Actually, Lola has such subconsciousness that Tyler didn't love her so much as she does. While, girls who fell in love are always good at self-deception. She didn't devote herself in pursuit of truth, while loving or not is a fact which can't be changed by herself and she had no choice but to accept at that moment where her boyfriend chose the other to finish werewolf  mating. Luckily, Lola met her true mate finally. Just as most werewolf novels, this novel also combines with romance elements. Most plots invloving in this novel are about Lola's romance.  Of course, conflict desinged in the beginning is relatively attractive for readers, which also paves a ground for the development of the story and gave readers motivation to continue reading.
