Taming the Wild CEO - Chapter 2
Her day had been fun. Ella had a great time with the dress fitting and cake testing. She and Damon even had one slice of coffee and cognac cake for Clarabelle, who had skipped the cake testing, saying that she had some urgent things to do. Ella had chosen hazelnut cake with chocolate buttercream and lemon, which was an odd combination but somehow worked pretty well. Damon was against it at first, but since it was obviously Ella’s wedding and not his, he agreed to let her have the creamy cake.
Just when she thought she had enough of fun and would really like to go home, Clarabelle joined them again, and together with Damon, they insisted that they should go to a club nearby. Being dragged to a club, Ella could only assure herself that at least there was a chair somewhere where she could sit after all
Twenty minutes later, both Ella and Javier were already ready and walked down the twin spiral staircase hand in hand. Javier was wearing a black blazer, a white shirt, and a pair of matching dark pants. Ella was wearing a spaghetti strap gold satin floor-length gown. Since her hair was wet from the shower, she only dried it with a towel and a bit of hairdryer, leaving her dark hair semi-dry and down her back.
First, they made a quick stop at the kitchen, where Maxon Rupert Summers was still in the middle of cooking and commanding his army of chefs.
“Max,” Javier called his younger brother from the kitchen door.
It took a while before his younger brother left his station and approached them. “Hi, Jav. If you are worried about anything, you need not. I have everything covered. Tonight will be epic,” he reassured his brother.
